I’ve partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use the benefits checker to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.

Can I use my health insurance benefits to pay for therapy?

It depends on your insurance plan and your decision to involve your insurance company with your mental health care. Therapy services in my practice are considered “self-pay”; therefore, I am out of network with all insurance companies and I do not directly file insurance claims for my clients, but I can help you seek reimbursement for therapy as an out of network providers. This service is FREE!

Here's how it works:

Clients pay the self-pay rate of $140 per session at the time of service. If you’d like to use Mentaya to submit your superbill claim for you, then:

1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.com/checkbenefits/CHECKYOURINSURANCEBENEFITS

2. Once you have created your Mentaya account and agreed to their terms, I will enter your session information into the secure platform after each appointment.

3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

4. You get reimbursed by insurance per your plan (most clients must meet their out-of-network deductible first before they are eligible for some rembursement towards counseling services).
