My professional calling is to help the helpers. As a former U.S. Army Officer and public School Counselor, I understand and appreciate the demands of selfless service. I get that leading others can be physically, mentally and emotionally exhausting. I’m here to help you restore yourself. I counsel from a strength-based, values-focused, and cognitive behavioral approach. We will work together to manage your stress, explore your strengths and discover work environments which best align with your authentic self. Through assessment tools, honest conversation, and self-discovery, I’ll be by your side as you take these brave steps forward.

Here’s how we’ll work together.

STEP 1

Schedule a 15-minute free phone consultation below. Complete the questionnaire that I send you via email to help guide our phone conversation. We will chat about your concerns and your goals. I’ll answer your questions about my practice, availability and pricing. If we agree to work together, we’ll schedule your first in-person session.

STEP 2

Complete the new client forms that I send you in your secure client portal to give me more information about yourself before we meet. We will review these forms during our first session. At the end of our first 50-minute session, you and I will agree on 2-3 counseling goals, the frequency of your sessions, and your desired outcomes from therapy.

STEP 3

We will meet routinely to work on your counseling goals for 60-minute counseling sessions. You may have practice assignments between sessions to reinforce your goals. Although talk-therapy is very conversational, some concrete activities may be incorporated into your sessions to expand your knowledge and skills for healthy living.
